Tired of trying to translate the testosterone-driven techno-babble of today's bike industry? Curious what bicycling has to offer for the better half of the populace? Bicycles Plus has two upcoming events designed just for you!

Join us at our Park Cities loaction for Bicycles Plus 4th Annual Ladies Night on Tuesday May 19th at 7PM! This is your chance to hear about cycling from a ladies perspective, and ask the cycling questions that concern you as a woman. Ross Rushin from Trek Bicycle is our ladies cycling pro on hand for the evening to discuss the cycling issues that concern women, not that stuff that the guys always yammer on about! This is also your chance to meet other women who share your interest in and love for cycling. There is something for all experience levels here, from beginner to seasoned. And best of all, we provide the beer, wine, food, fun, education, giveaways, and special deals!

BUT WAIT -- THERE'S MORE... Talk is good, but there's no substitute for riding the real thing. Join us and Ross the night before, Monday, May 18 at 6PM for your chance to ride one of the many Women's Specific Design bikes that Trek offers. No registration is required, and it's free -- just come out and ride!

WEEKLY GROUP RIDES ARE IN FULL SWING!!!

It's that time of year -- Daylight Savings time marks the return of the BP summer group rides! Details are below per store. For all locations, road bike and helmet are required, and safety lights are STRONGLY recommended. Are rides are subject to cancellation due to rain and/or excessive wind -- call your store to confirm.

PARK CITIES: Every Monday & Thursday evening departing at 6:30 from BP Park Cities parking lot. Warmup pace from the store to White Rock Lake, followed by one lap around the lake at your own pace. We regroup at the lap starting point to head home at a cool down pace. All riders are usually back before 8PM. 18 - 19 miles total, depending on whether you take the hill loop.

COPPELL: Every Tuesday evening departing at 6:30 from the BP Coppell parking lot. Two routes available: 18 mile (slower) or 22 mile (faster) loop. Both routes have a 16mph minimum. Route maps are available.

FLOWER MOUND: Two rides per week -- A recovery ride every Monday evening at 6:05, 16-18mph pace. Thursday evenings at 6:05, a 30 mile route at 20+mph pace. Both depart from the BP Flower Mound parking lot.
